I came across this great video on how to make and print out some great decals for you mini fig’s. I have tried the method out in the video and I was surprised how easy it is so get the decals to fit onto the minifigures.

A Game of Throne: The Board Game First Edition has been my favorite game for just over a year. This game has the best war strategy mechanics out of all the games I actually have played. The Second Edition just improved upon an already loved game. I will not go into depth of how it is played, however I would definitely suggest playing with somebody that knows how to play the game so your first time if enjoyable.
A Game of Throne’s principles can be a heap to take in directly, but is certainly worth the training curve. A highly recommend this game to anyone that enjoys long strategy games. Along with the additions of ports and siege engines, there are a few minor rule changes with the second edition. So if you’re going from first edition to second edition I suggest you do an intensive scan through of the foundations before enjoying. Studying of the book is not needed however definitely adds to gaming expertise. I actually bought the books after enjoying the first edition game so much.
I really enjoyed this game and have played with my kids (12 and 5) as well as an adult gaming cluster. This game scales well between the 2 groups and everybody had a sensible time.

Ok, I have to begin this review off by saying I had my reservations about this game. I fully love Euro strategy games like Puerto Rico, Agricola, Power Grid, Caylus, etc, but I’m not into card games. In truth, I pretty much hate card games.

Lego Series 1 introduces nine new parts and has the least amount of female minifigures, with merely two. Series 2, 3, and 4 each have three, and Series 5 has four, and Minifigures Series 6 has five.
As my son and I have been opening these packs of Series one Lego minifigures (about 50 ) we found that the robot and zombie are hard to find. In the 50 or so packs that we opened we have seen only 3 zombies and 4 robots. I am not complaining because that is the whole fun of the Lego mystery packs.
If you’re not fond of the whole mystery thing you can find them on Amazon and just buy them out right. I have done this is the past with other Lego Series. If you have children that are into Lego’s I found giving these packs works for a great reward system as well. If your child gets a good grade or does there chores on time you can reward them with a Lego mystery pack. I have found that it’s a great way to help motivate my child. It might also be rewarding to yourself to see what Lego figure they might get and the surprise factor is fun. For $2 you can’t really go wrong, plus you and your child can have fun collecting these Lego Minifigures as we do here in my family. If you’re just a casual Lego collector or a die hard Lego fan the Series 1 is a great way to add some fun to your collection.
